Simple terms. By using HeartWise, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before using the app.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using HeartWise ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use the App.

2. Description of Service

HeartWise is a nutrition tracking application that scores meals based on their impact on heart health. The App uses AI-powered meal analysis, barcode scanning, and food database search to provide nutrient information and Heart Health Scores.

3. Medical Disclaimer

⚕️HeartWise is NOT a medical device.

It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The Heart Health Score is an educational tool based on publicly available nutrition science. Always consult your healthcare provider before making dietary changes, especially if you have heart disease, high cholesterol, or other medical conditions.

4. Account Registration

You must create an account to use the App. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as necessary.

5. Subscriptions

  • Premium Monthly: $7.99/month
  • Premium Annual: $49.99/year (save 48%)

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or extract source code from the App
  • Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise the App's security
  • Use the App to provide medical advice to others
  • Share your account credentials with others

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Next Arc Studio and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of meal photos and data you create in the App. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process this data for the purpose of providing the service (meal analysis, score calculation, insights).

9. Data Deletion

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time through Settings > Account > Delete Account. This action is permanent and irreversible.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Next Arc Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
