Next Arc Studio ("we", "us", or "our") operates the HeartWise mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

  • Meal logs and food entries
  • Cholesterol readings (if entered by you)
  • Meal photos (stored securely in cloud storage)
  • App usage preferences and settings

All data you provide is entered voluntarily. We do not collect data from your device's health apps or sensors unless you explicitly enter it.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide core app functionality (meal tracking, scoring, insights)
  • Sync your data across your devices
  • Generate personalized dietary insights and recommendations
  • Process AI-powered meal photo analysis
  • Manage your account and subscription

3. Data Storage and Sync

Your data is synced to secure cloud servers so you can access it across devices. Meal photos are uploaded for AI analysis and associated with your account.

4. Third-Party Services

Convex — Backend database and real-time sync
Clerk — Authentication and account management
RevenueCat — Subscription and purchase management
Cloudflare R2 — Secure photo storage
OpenRouter — AI-powered meal analysis (meal photos are sent for analysis)

5. Data Sharing and Sale

We share data only with the services listed above, solely for operating the App.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained while your account is active. Delete your account via Settings > Account > Delete Account. All data is permanently removed.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security: HTTPS/TLS, secure authentication, and access controls.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Health Disclaimer

⚕️HeartWise is a wellness tracker, not a medical device.

It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Scores and insights are informational only. Consult a healthcare provider.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date will be revised accordingly.
